Looks like they finally sold out... More room for something new!!!
Great knife tho, glad I got a couple before they were gone.

Well nothing lasts forever and I am sure that KW will have something else in the works (so to speak)...

I got mine 2 weeks ago. Thanks to Trailboss for the final push over the cliff on this one.
Fits great in hand. TB is right, while the blade is only 3.4 inches it feels like it has more reach. It's heavy but it doesn't pull my pants down so light enough.
Speaking of what's next (these all black M4's where beautiful.). Next I would like some colored scales, red or blue with a satin or stonewashed blade (M390 or S30V). Both in 520 and 525 of course.
Flow through design, loose the plastic backspacer.0 -
I'm glad the M4 520 versions are gone. Too tempting, but a little weighty for my tastes. The M4 525 is perfect on the other hand. I hope they sell out too before I have to get another one.

On a side note: In all these months I haven't seen any of these M4 Presidio's for sale on the marketplace. Anywhere. Either they're that good or DJ's bought up the rest.

I have a matching number set I had listed here for a short time. I decided to keep them though. Maybe Ill have to try and sell them again.
I really dont want to though.0 -
Then don't JR. I wouldn't. 0 -
Good! now I won't be tempted to buy any more...

I half suck. I got my 525 a long time ago. If I had know what I know now I would have gotten the 520 with it and matching numbers. Live and learn.0 -

You know if was a betting man, I would have bet that the 525 would have sold out first.
But then they may have more of the 525's than the 520's in the first place..

does anyone know how many of the 525s they have left? I have two 520s and only one 525...hmmmmmmmmmm 0 -
I'm glad I managed to get this 520 when I did. I'm really liking it! I just wish I had another $140 to give Roger for the 525 before they all disappear. 0 -
About (75) 525's in stock at this time..

The irony is that while it took forever for a mere 200 520M4s to sell out (not sexy, little interest from collectors and to many, those god-awful scales), I'm guessing the percentage of them actually being used relative to other recent LEs is quite high, as it truly is a specialized working tool. 200 M4 blades out there and that's it-- I don't think these will show up too often. 0 -

I would agree with all that, the 520/525 are what they are, a good solid working tool that is built like a TANK.
There scales would NOT win a beauty contest and the coating wear off, BUT my GOD they are a solid and rugged knife.0 -
I agree, I would have guessed the 525 would have sold first, but of corse I am biased.
I can't believe there are still 75 of 200 left! I was going to guess less than 30 at the most

I'm a bit surprised as well. But perhaps on the larger work knife more folks overlook the scales that many find objectionable.0 -

Missed out on this one. I had it in my cart at KW and got sidetracked and never ordered it. Hopefully I will have some cash to get the 525 before they sell out. 0 -

Well, if you had the 520 in your cart to buy, then you must have had the money for it. The 525 is $10 less, so you do have the money for one!
See? Problem solved!
I really am wishing I had the cash for a 525. I just want to replace my 585 bad enough that it's a toss-up (of course, I don't have the cash for either one).0 -

True but the range hood in my kitchen took a crap today so I have to buy anew one of those first.

KW,s may have been out of 520,s but they still have approx. 70 525 M-4,s left ,
So I had to get one more before there all gone.
I still cant believe they had so many .....its M-4 super steel......one of the better steels out there.
I suppose the handles turn some folks off , but not me , I like the way it hangs onto your pants , makes for a no loser in the bushes.
Just thought I,d say something ...........0 -

I sure wish I had the funds for one, as I'd try to get a matching 525 to the 520 I picked up.0 -
I am trying to decide if I should get another 525. If I knew I could match the number to my large I would, but it's a low number so I doubt it. The other large I have is a high number but it's been beat to pieces so I don't even care about matching the number

I would actually prefer not to have matching low numbers. That would make me treat them as a collectible set and to collect and not use these M4 knives would be pity. These are working knives.quote:different wrote...The other large I have is a high number but it's been beat to pieces so I don't even care about matching the number
