I also looked for a sub 3" knife, when i couldn't find one I liked. I took my Bugouts to the sanding belt and made my own. I have done this on 2 Bugouts and I really enjoy the finished product.

I have a Deka, nice knife. The G-10 handles are a very nice upgrade. The Deka carries well and is part of my rotation along with my Bugouts that I have upgrade scales on.
