Thanks for the kind words. I can guarantee you that you will not be disappointed. The Ritter fixed blade is one of the best kept secrets in the fixed blade line up Benchmade has to offer. You don't hear a lot of people talk about it but the blade shape/steel/materials sure make it a very versatile blade and a great value for the price you pay.

I think I didn't get the same one. Mine should have a different serial number

I'm really excited for it. I never thought I'd get to own one; this is the model I've wanted for at least a couple years.

I guess it looks pretty good for being run over by a fire truck. It looks like the axis lock would still work!

Nice T. Did it come with that barrel bushing? Is it a solid bushing or a collet bushing? The next thing I would do is put a one piece guide rod on it. Gotta love a .45...

Nice, Patrick. Two mini-Rucki? I keep two of those myself. If you ever come up with a good alternate clip for those, let us know. I was even looking at the 275 clip to see if it would work. Of course the handle would have to be re-drilled, but the trick is to find one that hides the recessed area where the original clip attached.

Thanks Fast..yea,the clip on the 615 is its bane..I tried a 635 clip and thought the 470 clip might work...didnt like either.Thought about drilling for the three hole clip but ...reluctant to alter. Thjis is the old face of my small collection.Have added a 615 and a few others, and no longer have the 890 and one of the 710's.
