Stonewashed M390 Ritter Griptilians
I think we are ready for these. What do you think?

Does this still interest anyone? This should be the next LE Ritter, don't you think? 0 -
I'm sure it would interest many. I'd be more interested though if it didn't have the normal grip scales. Something more like the gold box scales would be much more interesting... and the inclusion of a mini with said scales. 0 -
Sure, I would still like to see these knives made. However, I think M390 may not be flavor of the month at Benchmade for a while. 0 -
I would be happy with a griptilian/mini-grip with S30v or better and g-10 or CF scales.
would be happy with the one in the op as well, looks sweet!
I have a 555HG minigrip that I got just for the modified sheepsfoot blade, but I hate the Valox and 154CM0 -
stonewashed M390 with gold class style scales in G10 would be pretty much the perfect knife. 0 -
OK the Forum Knife craze is over. Time for M390 Ritters

I have recently talked to both Doug and Roger about just such a knife. I get the feeling that such a knife is in the works - but they have a policy of not discussing their plans until something is actually a done deal. 0 -
I am very interested in one. A stonewashed M390 blade and contoured G10 scales would be a home run IMO.. 0 -
It would not suprise me at all to see a LE run of 300 Ritters both large & mini in M390 happen this year. Any type of upgrade on scales; now that would be a huge suprise! 0 -

I hope your feelings are accurate

Heck yes. Only thing is, those M390 blades would just go straight to the CF grip handles!
M390 with a Ritter belly would be sweet indeed.0 -
I'm new here, but that is a great idea. I would be all over an M390 Ritter grip 0 -
Welcome Todd. You seem to have exceptional taste

It probably has as much to do with available stock on hand and in the queue than anything else. Of course Benchmade's manufacturing schedule and materials delivery factors in here somewhere too. Which is another way of saying, we are all practicing wishful thinking without data. 0 -
We are displaying our enthusiasm for such a awesome knife.
Nothing more or nothing less, atleast on my part.
These would of probably be made in the future regardless. Our fellow board memeber "Critter" usually stops by to do some reading. If he sees this thread, it'll serve as a reminder that we might be ready for em

I am practicing wishful thinking enthusiastically!
I would buy one or two today. (waves at Doug)
0 -
I would buy 1 large and 1 small; just like I did the last 2 times.
- He said waving to Doug

I think i'd go for two pair. Or two pair and an extra mini
0 -
Do not forget the Mk3 Fixed Blade of awesome. 0 -
I just picked up an orange mini Ritter to go with my full size Ritter grip. My wife wouldn't let me get one unless I got her a pink Ritter mini grip along with it. I am a lucky guy. If there was a M390 version we would pick some up. Bring it on Benchmade. 0 -
Long past due, really. quote:Originally posted by APBT:

How about any handle color other than black...
OD green, foliage green, sage green, lime green, orange, tan, coyote brown, gray, white.
I would like any of those colors, I already have 5 black handled mini grips.
And maybe the Carpenter steel equivalent of M390, I think its CTS204P. Keep it all American.0 -
I don't care what color it is, but I want G10. if it came with the standard plasticy scales, I'd just end up replacing them anyway... 0 -
Hi 0 -
Well hello. 0 -
This sure would be much sweeter with a M390 blade
0 -
How about that Carpenter steel that is supposed to compare to m390. It's supposedly less expensive. I wonder if benchmade could do a run in that? 0 -

That would be cool, the more options the better. However, I doubt the would use a steel they aren't working with. Although, You'd think BM and Carpenter would get together sooner or later.0
