Playin' with this today.
The action is very much like an axis lock, but much stiffer, so the lock is harder to release.

first attempt at a king cobra weave bracelet...

a single length of foliage cord measuring approximately 16 ft. fairly happy with results. have some exotic colors in bound (anaconda, copperhead, etc.), well see how they turn out. can't beat home-brewed edc...0 -
Looks good, NSA. If you use two lengths instead, you can make the inner core a different color to get some contrast. Then again, you can unravel and have a single longer piece doing it all the same color as you did. 0 -
Keyman, that is some cool stuff. It looks great.

still working on the cord tots pouch...
tb, yeah, there's a lot of different stuff out there. my intent was the later if you're staying true to the intent as far as a prep.0 -
Here's another cool idea. Replace your bootlaces with black (or whatever color you want) paracord. Then you always have another couple of pretty good sized hanks with you. If you gut them later and pull the strands out, you can still use the outer part as laces and your boots still snug up tight. 0 -
Dang it. I just wrote a reply that mentioned using paracord for b o o t laces but that is a trigger word and must be approved by mods. Lol. Anyway, replace current laces with paracord and you'll always have another two good sized hanks with you, just in case. 0 -

That's a good tip, and one easily overlooked...0 -

Go south as in that person uses their ccw?
--If so many instructors teach people how to shoot and they seem to be ok with any legal issues
OR
Go south as in that person makes a mistake at the range and someone is hurt?
--Then I would say you are responsible and reliable, especially if they are a guest.
OR
Go south as in you train someone for an extended period of time and that person in turn committees murder? (Similar to that PA Sniper coward who hide in the woods and shot and killed two state troopers. The guy what trained by his father who is a retired Army Major).
--In that case the courts would have to prove intent which can be difficult.
I may have misinterpreted your question X.
ALSO That doughnut is sic, love it! Great job NSA0 -
this is color 'undead'...

first time using the adjustable buckle and it came out slightly larger than I intended, but I think I'm good to go regardless. I'll post up some other materials I took delivery of this weekend, e.g., black widow, anaconda, etc...0
