I wish I knew, first up the blade is out of alignment slightly and second, whilst careful not to put too much loctite and to wipe off the excess, some must have got into the pivot somewhere somehow...

hmmm, looks like I just killed my sequel. for anyone else with an issue like this, for the price they cost, I'd recommend sending it back and getting a refund.
