I recommend trying liquid bar keepers friend on a sponge, it works great at removing light rusting and won't scratch. You can pick it up at grocery stores or Walmart.

I'll have to admit I was a bit underwhelmed with mine so I let it go on bf. The finish was beautiful but I wasn't happy with the fit tolerances, not for the price. I will say I love the blade sha...
