Very nice.
It looks very smooth. Is paper micarta smoother than linen? I have never held it.
And that is the back spacer made from?
Keyman, take a look at the new M4 mini grip at GP. It has a grey cerakote blade. Wondering what would look good on it???(I love mini grips but not the factory scales).

Thanks Geo.
It definitely can be brought to a smoother finish, quicker, than Linen or canvas.
But, they all get pretty smooth if sanded to 400 - 600 grit.
But, I left this one at 220 grit.
The back spacer is made of a material called Juma. This particular pattern of Juma they call Golden Dragon. I will try and add better pics of the spacer later today.quote:Originally posted by Geocyclist:

WOW! the Juma is wicked awesome. Looks like wood grain but I assume it's not wood.
I have always liked standoffs but this is just awesome, especially to use it full length. Really cool.0 -
Nice work as always - this one is right up there with the maple burl set you did not too long ago. You guys are killing me - instead of saving up to buy knives, now I'm saving up to get different scales for the ones I already have! lol
