/|\ I've had DOAT make me G10 back spacers for my 810-1401. I'm sure he could make some for you.

May I suggest that glow in the dark material DOAT uses, as will be harder for you to lose this 2nd set.

The original one was located and is being sent. Thanks though.

710DLC-1 #1 of 250, and kind of a hybrid, I guess. Came across an M390 crowned spine blade and swapped it into my much loved and used basic 710 black G10 body. Often used, much lived.

Still on the lookout for a 710-801...

I should never have sold you that knife...the things we do when we need money.

Ok guys, I know that this is sort of resurrecting an old thread, but I think that this is where this belongs.

I submit for your inspection and consideration a knife that may be unique:

New comer here .  I have 3 710’s.  Whenever one pops up for sale I usually bid.   I just got this polished blade 710s however the laser etching is kinda funny.   The blade has been repolished  and the laser etchings are in weird off spots.  It was described as an 710s ats -34.  The logos are big and don’t line up with the curve at the top of the blade and look too low.  See photos

It's legit IMO. A very early 710 blade. 1999-2001? ATS-34, Seki version of 154CM (Crucible). Changed to 154CM in 2000ish. That's the factory finish of ATS-34, it doesn't appear to be polished.

Butterfly has antennae. Placement is merely a difference in production years. Changes in manufacturing, etching machines, in house vs outsourced, etc.

Thanks !  Upon closer inspection it just looks like the last person to sharpen the blade got a little Carried away. The blade finish is more polished than satin  right above the cutting edge.  Sucks that they don’t make these anymore , people are crazy for trying to sell them for $400 on eBay.
