  Our engineering team is always looking into new steel options but each new steel has to go through our own testing program to ensure that it is to our standards.
  
  I have not heard anything about a large recurve blade yet but watch Facebook and the forums for new product announcements in the coming months.

  I'd love to see a "stretch" 805-- basically a folding mini-machete. 6" blade, simply added length thru the center of the handle/blade, ends/tooling otherwise the same. W/ toughness off the charts, 3V would be perfect (but I'd settle for M4 haha).

  That's encouraging! In that vein, consider Elmax and CTS-204P, which are almost identical to M390 (CTS-204P basically is M390) as a way to keep that performance envelope you are shooting for with the M390.

  Thanks for the reply. Think 755 blade profile stretched. Kind of a big wide bowie recurve. 3.5-4" long but please use the Axis lock cuase I have several big blades with a frame lock and long for one in an Axis. I love my Adamas but want micarta scales and wider blade.
