It was actually hand-grooved w/ a triangular file wrapped in s'paper. TOUGH stuff, I carried that knife some and never had issues w/ paint chipping/flaking. Since I would imagine G10 has a decent heat tolerance, could be it's paint a little more substantial than what you'd apply w/ a brush....

I don't think so, it's just replacing KW's M390 710

Just placed my order. If it's the same G10 as my other 710-1, I'm gonna put CF on it. M4 steel and carbon fiber will make a sweet knife. Now the wait!

Haven't done a tan one but I think that's a pretty safe assumption....

unfortunately, my gun funding is cutting into my knife funding of late so i'll passing on this one...

please post up some pics when you guys take delivery though.
