Fixed Bedlam
Okay, it's time for a fixed-blade Bedlam. The folder has already proven itself as a great skinner and is a mighty self-defense tool. The looks are fantastic, obviously. So it's time to get a fixed.
It's probably not high on their to-do list, so let's keep it simple for the Benchmade R & D team. Let them decide on steel type and scale material.

Man, I can't even vote... of course I'd buy one, but I hadn't even considered changing the length of the blade... looking at my choices, I really can't decide. I'll leave that one up to BKC. Jason, my trust is with you.

Why can't you vote? We need your vote! Get out the vote!0 -
Yes, I would buy at least two. I would like to see a 4.5-5 inch blade (just a little bigger than the folder). 0 -
This is a no brainer.
Yes!!!
I am happy with the current blade length, but any length they pick will be fine by me.0 -
We should have a Bedlam Friday to show some solidarity. 0 -
Although my state will not allow me to EDC, I'm sure my wife would love to see it
Being scimitar curved blade, it would be a nice slicer. I do wish the tip to be not so much ending upward.0 -
Oh, I voted... had to pick something...
I actually wouldn't mind exactly the same profile. But I guess if we're going through the trouble, we may as well increase the size for some variation. The 860 is such a tank, I don't feel it needs an identical fixed blade counterpart.
Although...
Make that sumbitch grow an inch or two and yes, that'd be my new butcher knife.0 -
A work in progress....

Looks good. Will it come with an uncoated blade, too?
Jason, are you taking deposits yet?
I am ready.0 -
Hoh! Atta boy, 'stage!

I voted for a 5.5 - 6 inch blade. Gonna go fixed, might as well go well fixed.

That would be the first and only fixed I would buy!0 -
And what would be your preferred blade steel for such a knife? 0 -
You know what would be cool? A FIXED BEDLAM! quote:

Preferred? CPM-3V(D), but BM doesn't currently use it. I think I'd go 154CM - a good all around choice.0 -

We are talking about a FIXED BEDLAM , right? 0 -
I don't think BM ever made a FIXED BEDLAM. 0 -
I think BM should have a FIXED BEDLAM in their lineup. 0 -
154CM steel is fine by me for the new FIXED BEDLAM. 0 -
Yeah, same here. Based on the performance of the folder, I'd be perfectly fine with 154CM.
Wow, I don't think I've ever said that before...

I'm always fine with 154, but I'm thinking razor fine edge on this thing, so...CPM-M4 for me. 3V would be outstanding too!
Know what, this format would even be outstanding in 1095...

It looks like there is strong, hopefully overwhelming, desire for a FIXED BEDLAM.0 -
I would love a fixed Bedlam. I would also love a mini Bedlam. 0 -
make a CE version and I'm onboard. 0 -
