Blade Exchange choices

I understand Benchmade will replace satin blades for $25 and black for $35.

But do you have other choices?

For example. With the Griptilian, can you go from Tanto to drop point?

Also, can you go from combo to plain edge?

From what I know.

Style of blade, yes. Upgrade steel, no.

Best to call CS to be sure what they have in and swap options,but for a grip should be lots.

Combo vs PE no problem. But I'd checked a couple yrs ago re: tanto to droppoint or vice-versa on 520/523 (same platform of course) and was told no.

We had a guy a few years ago here on the forum get his 42 turned into a 47. It's possible; however unlikely, that it can be done.

I don't know the answer to the question. But if they do not allow changing blade styles, I can understand why. I figure they have to be loosing money but do it as a committment to service their customers but would not want to have a poicy that leads to even more volume in a loss leading program. I can understand completely, if they say "if you want a different knife then buy a different knife."
