I know you are a fan of the factory scales, TB, but I never have been. I have some with Bone Collector scales which are nice, but they're very thick. Now I have a set of Presidios I can carry on sunday
but no worries, I still have more with factory scales0 -

Not sure why they made the little one and the big one different. I remember some discussion about it quite awhile back and no one really could figure out why. 0 -
Here's some pictures I took... with the used blades different sent me. 
Unfortunately the small one was an after though, so it wasn't cut from the same piece of wood. Wish I could have matched them better.0 -

But it's still a different style of hardware on the small bone collector so it still wouldn't look the same as the 520.0 -
yeah, the 520 has that odd pivot with the hole all the way through... the two screws probably match better than bone collector pivot would. 0 -
yup and I wouldn't want to put the wrong part on a knife. you know how I like keeping my knives all in factory stock condition. 0 -
