525M4 modded asymmetrically
I cleaned off the swedge, altered the remaining flat to suit, and sanded off 97% of the right-face etching, leaving in a sense a "ghost" image:

Casual inspection-- even w/ the knife in your hand-- you'd think the blade face was clean:

But catch the light just right-- it's still there:
I do need to very carefully hand-reprofile broad acute primarys. I say "carefully" cuz carelessly smearing 600-grit s'paper across a 3000-grit blade face is a major, major, bummer.
It's an odd pairing, but you don't see both sides of the knife at the same time. Clean face of course is what I'll see using the knife, unless I make a point of looking at the clip side. I prefer the simplicity of the clean-- but the embellished side's fun....

Nice job all the way around. The hex standoffs are unique, which is cool. I love how the ghost flames disappear on the one side unless the light is just right.
