484 Nakamura

I saw this knife before and waited for them to come out .......well there out.
Got my order in today at KW,s and Iam patiently waiting ....LOL
I was just curious as to why no one that I know of has mentioned this knife as of yet.
I love the handle shape and its M-390 so whats not to like ?
I probably get mine Thursday or Friday and I,ll post a couple of pics.
Anyone else like or dislike this knife ??

  I've been awaiting release as well. will order one next paycheck. this thing is going to be a work horse for sure.

  I like this one. Held off on the 300, not this one tho'. I like the blade shape, stand offs and even that beauty ring around the pivot. Is that a first for BM..? I dont remember seeing that before. The full size Onslaught maybe?

  I do want one, has so many things going for it as mentioned above. Timing is no good for me personally to get one with the 940-1 tying up any fun money. Really want to try something in both m390 and s90v though.

  I had one on pre-order and was excited yesterday when I saw an email saying they had come in stock.
  
  I think it will be a great EDC knife and the blade shape reminds me of an H&K 14210 Snody.

  To me it looks a fancied up version of the 14210. I already have a 14210, but perhaps one should get one of these, compare the two and decide which one to sell.

  IIRC ..... the knife isnt light weight , but I liked the handle the most.
  I should have one tomorrow or friday ........trackin says tomorrow but you never know.
  I agree that you should at least try it.........then sell it if its not your bag.

  Maybe it will fill in the gap left by the 14210, I appreciate attention to these smaller blades this year by Benchmade. I'm holding out for the 940 but I keep second guessing more and more if I could only have one new...

  I'll pass on this one. If I needed a small knife like this, I'd just use a 525. Of course BM discontinued that one, so maybe this is intended as a replacement for that niche.
  
  Am curious to see what you guys think of the scales though.

  If you like serrated blades, the good news is you can get them cheap.
  
  If you like PE, the bad news is they are getting hard to find.

  My 484 is here ......I like it alot , but I already knew I did upon seeing it the first time.
  Iam not much of a reviewer ..... but the handle shape is great.....wont slide out of your hand very easy at all. It wouldnt hurt it none if it were a tad longer , but its not and this is fine with me too. Maybe there will be a bigger version later on. The blade style to me is very versatile , good for many uses or applications (as the big boys would say) The double steel liners give it a feeling of indestructible ability's and who dont like barrel spacers ?????

  

  
  Double thumb studs so even you loser leftys can use it ....LOL
  I,ll probably end up putting a contego clip on it , just because I like deep carry.........however I might not.....it dont stick out of the pocket at all or very much at all.
  Wonderful knife .......dont knock it till you,ve tried it.
  If you dont like smaller knives , dont waste your time ......

  Various dealer probably have them .....however I bought mine at knife works

  The blade shape is quite reminiscent of the 14210, and one of the reasons why I'm sort of attracted to the 484. If they make one the size of the 14205, I may get one.
