    I agree. the 705 blade is just too small and the 707 scales get all beat up. This is a nice setup. also depending on how you do it, it makes for a very slim knife.

    There are a couple different ways you can do it, if you want to use the 705 liners, you would need to use standoffs since the 707 blade is a bit thinner. I just changed the scales and kept all the other 707 parts. This way it's quite a bit thinner than a stock 707 or 705, which I like.

    Thanks, I like simple. I'm going to look for a decent 705 and 707 and do the scale swap, sounds like that's the ticket. I like the 707 blade much better and dislike T6 in any form.

    Yes, they are custom made....and....Yes, you could buy another set just like them if you want to.
    They're brown canvas micarta.
    These two particular ones have standoffs installed in them too.

    Is that Deep Blue T25? If so that's very bright! Did you have to adjust camera settings or tweak the photo to have it show like that? The few pics I taken, I couldn't get the trit to show properly. I probably could use a better cam....

    It is a T25 by DB. I did have about a 1.5 second exposure. All I did was set it on Auto with no flash and let it figure it out. Its a new camera so I'm still figuring the thing out. Just thought I'd have a bit of fun with the trit.

    You can see it is not near as bright as a typical keychain fob next to it. I just got this watch about a week ago and do love it!
