707 LE
Paul and I have been talking to our BM. dealer for 2 years now about a 707 le.A few months ago BM said yes and should have a proto for us at shot. The knife should be out 6-8 wks after.
It will have blue alum. with cf or g 10 insert in silver or light gray,m390 satin blade and bright hardware. We will let everyone know how Matt wants to do orders when knife comes out.
The count will be 125 and all forum members will have a chance to get one, price should not be bad at all.

Thanks B.O.B.
That sounds great!
I def want in on that.0 -
Dibs on number 7, please!
I might sign up for number 86 and 99 too.
thanks0 -
Thank you and your dealer for your effort and your determination!
One thing I'd be very interested in is the thickness of the handle - if it has the same thickness as the regular 707 handle or if it's ~1mm thicker like some other limited editions of the 707.
So if you get a chance to find out about that when handling the prototype it would be great if you would post it somewhere (in here?)
And again: thanks for pursuing the 707 LE!

Jan, this dealer may not want to honor numbers. Knifeworks is among the very few I've seen who bother with it. Good luck though.
That being said Big Old Boy, I'm definitely in and looking forward to it!0 -
Carson, tell him I will pay $7 extra for number 7. Doh! I mean B.O.B.

I dont want to speak for the dealer but on his site if he has multiples of knives that are numbered he lists the numbers he has as if you can choose which one you want....so maybe....but we will see.
edit to add. yes i know the dealer but this is Big old boys contact i wont divulge who the dealer is thats for big old boy choosing not mine.0 -

That's one for me! 0 -
I'll need one also. 0 -
In the last weeks I gained some interest for the 707, so a LE would be perfect to purchase one for the first time.
BTW Which dealer is it?0 -
If I can swing the finances, I'll take one. Sounds like a good looking knife! 0 -

Was it at Shot? I didnt see it. Then again I missed 75% of it due to sensory overload.
If they go through the hassle of numbering them

So, B.O.B., how many prototypes? Nudge, nudge, wink, wink. I seem to have a small collection of prototypes.

I'm holding out hope for a Rift in M390, but if that doesn't materialize, this one is definitely on my short list. 0 -
This sounds really awesome! I really liked the Reg 707, but a LE would really hit some sweet notes! 0 -
