Yup.
Here's the M4 Mini-Presidio blade in the Mini-Bone Collectors Walnut handles.

How do the walnut scale hold up to pocket carry? Do they scratch or dent easily? 0 -
thanks guys just ordered one 0 -
I did the Bone Collector swap with both a 520-1101, and 525-1101 blade, but found that I actually liked the standard aluminum Presidio handles better. But I don't have pocket clips on my Presidios.
I still don't think the Presidio scales are very appealling...they are ugly really, but they do feel pretty good, and they are light.
I've got the G-10 BC handles, and they are very cool, but they thicken at the butt of the handle...where your fingers get shorter, and I don't find them as natural feeling in my hand as the Presidio scales. It is only an aesthetic point though.
But hey, an M4 Presidio blade in the BC handle is a rare and awesome knife.0 -
Po, thanks for the feedback. I love the look of natural wood, but comfort is more important for an EDC knife. 0 -

This is stabilized wood. So, it's not going to be as soft as a straight untreated wood would be.
I find them to be quite tough. No dents or scratches. The handle is quite comfortable "in hand". Pretty bulky "in pocket" though; compared to a mini-grip that is. Presidio's are good candidates for some custom scales, if you ask me. I'm thinkin' some blue twill or Ivory snake would look pretty good with the black blade. I've left the wood alone because I like the look. But, the ribs on the walnut scales are definitely rough on pockets.
Here's some Corian Moss:

That Corian looks crazy good.
My wife is pretty ticked about the chunk missing off the end of the kitchen counter now though.0 -
