You can get these for between $300-$450. Forum members also have them and I'm sure they'd make you a deal.

This is just an example. They aren't worth this much.

I can't think of any other fixed blades that don't have a heel that would obstruct for food prep.

+1 for the kitchen knives. I have a set of the G10 versions and we love them. Should be a little cheaper if you can find them.

    Model 4502. $390 MSRP vs. $505 for the 4501.

Jason you guys did a survey about kitchen knives a year or so ago. What became of that? Is BMK developing some new kitchen knives?

I would like to see "kitchen knives" in at least S30V FFG or SG...

I like Hunt series Saddle mountain skinner for large size meat, and Saddle Mountain hunter for smaller task. I prefer G10 but love the fact handle can be removed for complete sanitizing.

Ritter 152. Amazing knife for slicing, and I've worked in a few kitchens in my day. Had a few other chefs play with it too, and they liked it a ton.

I might be interested in some Benchmade kitchen knives if they started offering them again. I avoid using my EDCs for food because I suspect Blue Lube and Tuff-Cloth don't taste very good

For that, I wanted to have a knife that can be bare metal. This and the Saddle Mountain Skinner with G10 can take off the G10 and clean it thoroughly. I hesitate wood as they are porous and can have contaminates.
