I seriously don't know what are defence loads, I shoot regular 115gr. ball ammo, it's available and cheap.
If it's like the +P ammo then no, they are expensive besides if he does'nt go down shoot 'em again, you shot him once

I rotated the gold 1100 pen to the Damasteel 1100 just a couple weeks ago.
The knife is pretty much everyday. tho this month i rotated through 5 of my regular edc knives...
