    Wasnt aware of St. Clair clips..thanks.

    I looked at the 1401 blade against the 1602..very close to swapping them..One thing to note is that the 1602 blades have the smaller T-studs than the 1401's..CF scales being so thin, smaller profile studs needed. Would most definitely need to change studs on the 1401 blade.

    My 1602 has been shipped back for a few issues. Maybe a swap when it returns.

    Hmmm, that sounds like a good idea.

    Still wondering which liner I should use. I like 1401 jimping.

    * M390 blade.
    * 1401 liner
    * CF scale

    Should I go with glass breaker or DLC barrel spacer?

    MFL, according to Jason the 810-1602 offsets are keyed. As such I don't think switching the liners of either the offsets or backspace that came with the liner will work ( keyed offsets are not going to fit into the liners of either original 810 or the 810-1401)

    I'm going to Ohio.
    I have an out of state concealed carry license.
    I was going to bring my least offensive looking BM knife. Either the 551-1 3.45 Length or 531-1501 3.25 Length.
    In Ohio both are considered weapons. Their rules are convoluted. They honor my concealed so I can carry a pistol (which I'm not) but my knife has to be a tool like a SAK.

    Anybody live there? If it's best to carry a SAK I can do that too.

    Can you post a side pic to see the clearance up to the screws?

    Does it go all the way into your pocket just like a reg clip?
    Retention fits jeans?

    These clips are great. Works with heavy rolled pocket tops, like on Dickies or Levi's.
