Actually, it sounds almost identical to the 707-701...

707-701 was S30V and international-only release though. Shouldn't step on too many toes I hope.

The 707-901 was very similar to the 701 as well, the G10 insert was the only difference. At least the change here is where it really counts.

Thank you for staying with this BOB.
I have been anxiously anticipating this one.
I will now make a great effort not get my hopes up too much.
Truth is, it will come if and when it does come.
    No sooner, no later.

    I'm psyched!

What type of blue coating is that?
I seem to recall satin hardware as well.
"It will have blue alum. with cf or g 10 insert in silver or light gray,m390 satin blade and bright hardware. "
Satin hardware would make it pop,
    is it too late?

    Thanks

    +1 on the satin hardwear/clip

This one will be a Birthday gift for my bro

I am worried, however, that the blue coating will come off rather quickly.. Wish they used Ti (holds it's color for years

    )

I've always hated that chalky feel on all BM's aluminum knives, and it chips badly..

    Am still in BTW.
I just wasnt picturing it with black hardware.
Am a huge satin hardware fan on LE's.
    Just me.

    Thanks again

I will see if our dealer wants to try again for satin hardware. For some reason BM talked him out of it before. They said it would be too many changes. I don't quite understand that. This blue was the nicest looking of the 4 samples they sent. We wanted to keep prices down and keep the knife semi original so that's why it's aluminum. We really wanted to go with a blue and m390, we got that. We will try for satin hardware, I assume the final product won't be long now.
