    Yep. Saw it! Pretty cool!

I'm hoping that the release will be an AFCK or ARES or 941/943. Pretty much in that order.

An AFCK in Magnacut with some Cloudy Carbon Fiber or Exotic Scale Material would be amazing.

So would either of the other two. 😎

25yr 710 makes the most sense to me but might be hard to top some of the GCs that are already out there.

In the video he does say "items". If you say it's the AXIS lock it's self you could include any knife with it. I may be stretching there. The 730 and the 940 will be 25 next year, so they'll probably wait on those.

I did pickup in the video that they put the old Bali-song logo on the Necron. Keeps that trademark alive.

Who else is old enough to have seen the original Wizards and Necron99?

Lol. I'm old enough but Benchmade wasn't in my vocabulary then. 🤣

I'd be happy with a 25-year 710 or a 15-year Barrage (and considering that they just released a new 585 Mini Barrage for 2023, I'd say there's decent odds they may do an anniversary 580 full size Barrage).  I'd say there's also a good chance they'll drop more Infidels - they did the limited runs last year, so why not do some more?

If they drop a Limited Gold Class 710, that's gonna be a very hard knife to get.  It'll be some kind of crazy a carbon fiber scales and a dama blade...maybe even a pair will get released similar to the Facts - one in DLC dama and the other in satin dama

The Immunity Gold looks better in the video than it did in photos IMO.  Just wish it was the Auto Immunity.

I don’t think they will do more infidels because the last batch didn’t sell very well.

AFCK would be my top choice as well.  And heck while we are dreaming, let’s go for an AFCK limited run customizer with wide variety or scales, blade steels, different colored hardware and an AFCK “mini” option.  Or how about an AFCK auto?

John Olsen at INAK just posted prices...

The Feather Damascus is the Gold Class and will run $1500.

The others appear to be sprints, with the grey one priced at $450 and the black priced at $600...so not too crazy.

I'm assuming they're gonna be real expensive...

I am starting to like the limited/ unlimited releases now. Since I don't have any special route to acquire a real limited edition and I don't want to pay even higher second market prices.

    I don't like flippers period.

ps, not flipping the butterfly knives.

    Well, now that's interesting.

Plus I saw somewhere that the blades are Magnacut.

Interesting. The video says that the silver version is a catalog item and it will be available forever. I’m told that all three are sprint runs or two of them are sprint runs and the gold class but I don’t know for sure

Higher resolution image, linked instead of embedded so it can't be down-rezzed.

$450 for flat Al with S90V

$600 for sculpted Al(?) with Magnacut

    $1500 for Ti with damasteel

I think the $450 model is the return of the 710 as a part of the 2024 lineup and beyond. I hope I'm wrong about that. As a collector, I'm not a fan of bringing back discontinued model knives into unlimited production status.

Collectors expect production knives that are discontinued to remain discontinued except for limited editions. If it is part of the 2024 standard production lineup, they would have been smart to have named it 711. It's different enough that they could have pulled it off as a new model reminiscent of the 710.

After the 42 was discontinued, they came back with the damascus 42-101 gold class which was slab construction rather than the 42's channel construction. Then they followed that with a slab construction production model, very similar to the 42-101 but had the class to name it the model 62. That's how you maintain collectibility and the trust of collectors. They could do the same thing now, making the Gold and LE models 710's, but the production model 711.

This is the spacer on the GC. I’m pumped for this one. Have production numbers been confirmed or is this an unlimited-limited Gold Class?? Still not as pretty as Tim’s -144, but a great looking knife. Hopefully the GC is titanium not aluminum.
