repair/replace pocket clip

the pocket clip got loose and then the clip got bent out of whack. Is there a special tool needed to remove the 2 screws from the clip? Tried the star drivers I have at home, and I can't get them to budge. What should I do?

  Hello bwade & welcome to the forum

  What you are looking for is a T6 Torx bit/driver. You'll want one with a hardened bit & Wiha is the most popular

  You can rotate the clip 180 degrees & bend it into place fairly easily. Benchmade will also ship you a couple clips a year for free

  One thing to add to tu’s instructions.

  Try heating the screw.  You will need a soldering iron to do that and it doesn’t have to be an expensive one.  Just a wand type soldering iron will do
