Got to play with them and put my name on one. About the size of a Redoubt. Assisted, MagnaCut, G10.

It doesn't show well in the catalog photo, but the CF/G10 version has a bright red thumb stud.

  I very much want to get my hands on one.  It’s not the prettiest knife IMO, but it looks like the Barrage killer - swapped in better ergos and grip texture and replaced the Valox with g10 (or CF).

  At the same time, they are keeping the assist and the full liners, adding their absolutely BEST blade coating (I am seriously in love with the cobalt black/grain grainy coating that they also use on the Adamas and Claymore….please and thank you!), and giving the killer Magnacut upgrade.

  I only wish they hadn’t done the little blade square cutout thingies.  If they were going to do something to spice up the blade, I’d have preferred the Adamas blood groove.  But this will be one that I check out ASAP.  It may become my new main heavy user as a Goldilocks knife that fits just in-between the Claymore and the full-size Auto Adamas.  Currently that’s my Barrage 581sbk with a bead blast to remove all the coating (I did that to get the m390 and still retain the ability to stop direct light reflection off the blade) and wearing some g10 scales from Dan Sergison.

  …and in that same vein, I do wish they had offered a serrated model.  I really do like serrations on my user knives.
