Vintage Benchmade Balisong

Hi, new to the forum. I recently purchased a Balisong and hopefully will not regret it if it is fake. I was going to send it to Benchmade to have them confirm if it is real, but if it wasn't, I would not get it back. I think it is a model 35. The one difference I can see from pictures I have found on the web is that it has "Benchmade" instead of just USA. I am hoping it was made during the transition to the Benchmade brand. Hopefully someone has some good news.

  I am a long way from being an expert on balisongs, but this one looks correct for the few I have had in the same manufacturing period as this.

  Do you remember if they had the Benchmade name on them?
