Hey Po! Its been a long time since we've seen you around in these thar parts brother!

Thanks for the info. I keep looking at them and have been really wanting to pull the trigger.

Hope to see you around more often!

I got one and just like you said. I almost switch my one of the regular EDC Bugout to this one.  I would compare this to the mini CR. It is lighter version of it. But, where should I put the Narrow?

Thanks, guys.  I saw these posts in the morning, then went out to the Ventura Farmer's Market.  It just so happens there is a good knife store on the same street that carries, among others, Benchmades.  Took a look at one of these and liked it.  Thinner blade but a taller blade than my MiniCRs, and much lighter.  Got the G10.  VERY sharp.

I just cut down some thick cardboard boxes (the blade flowed through them) and it's still razor sharp.

Great to see Po making a post!

I'm finishing some CR work, then moving to a couple Taggedouts. The CF/Magnacut looks like a great option, with the exception of slot vs thumb stud & the G10/S45VN is a great start for customizing

I picked up the new Orange/Carbon Fiber model. I wasn't sure about SelectEdge for daily carry. This version is CPM Magnacut, so we'll see how the edge holds up.

SelectEdge to me is just a gimmic. It is not practical "upgrade" or "improvement".

How long the edge will last from factory? It won't last once you are sharpening the blade yourself.

    /|\  Agreed once I re-sharpen it’ll be called de-selective.

I’m not a fan of coated blades but orange is on bottom of the list.

If you want to see your knife if dropped in the woods use blue handles & glow bead  for night hunting Snipes.😉

Yeah, I got two 15536 but I didn't get the fiber one because of the coated blade.

And that's what I love about Benchmade. A seat for every butt!

Ordered the 15535OR-01. Thought it would be worth checking out.
