Does resharpening the knife reduce the value?!

I have returned a few new knives to BKC because of dull or uneven grinds over the years.  Even on relatively expensive knives like the Anthem.  It had to go back.

But I’m more concerned with a mirror polish.

To me, it’s a plus.

  /|\ mirror polish certainly enhances the beauty of a blade. But not on all  knives. Knives with primary tactical  use having a mirror polished blade would be a negative to majority of users
