Best Sharpener Person Ever
I sent some knives out for a mirror sharpening hoping for the best.
And I am soo pleased.
I was updated every day with videos of the work done showing a mirror surgical sharpening. I have vids of each knife if you want to see the results.
He wrapped my knives up better than I did to send them back. Two USPS small boxes in a larger one. And half a newspaper!

Perfect grinds and sharpness has never been BKC’s best feature.
I have sent so many back to the spa that arrived dull, dull, dull.
This sharpener person corrects all that to correct perfect bevels and then he sharpens it to a mirror surgical sharpness.

LOL
I was waiting for him to become a member.
He can really sharpen a blade but he admittedly is not very tech savvy.
He charges $30 for the mirror scalpel sharpening.
He also does what he calls a work knife sharpening which is cheaper.

Martin, I’d love to hear more about your process. How do you sharpen knives?

Conrad i use a tsprof k03 guided system with resin bonded diamond stones. I use leather strops with diamond emulsions. I can go from 50 grit to 170,000. Forgive me if i dont respond fast. Im still figuring out how to navigate this forum. If you have any other questions feel free to send a message.

What micron size & brand are you using on leather? I use 5 to .25 micron, with the .25 rated at 100,000 grit.
