A Magnacut CLA is an interesting choice. The biggest thing there is that they wised up and realized they needed to file off the bottom back part of the handle to make it "half-coffin" and more grip neutral.
And I hate myself for liking the all white CLA since it's $450...so $400-ish MAP. I'm gonna be pissed at myself when I inevitably buy it. My last 4300-1 was purchased LNIB for $110 so I'll be hunting that one on the secondary.
The 273-03 Mini Adamas in CF and gold with the satin blade is also a sexy knife. They're definitely going for eye candy this year. I mean you know people are going to buy that one and the CF 945 in droves.
I should have seen it coming, but the tanto Claymore surprised me. Not my knife, but I'm sure some folks will dig it. I'm super pleased with my drop point there.
And can we talk about the 748 Narrows? Ti and m390? With a slide Axis lock? I mean... that's interesting. I wonder if it's riding on bearings. MAP will be about $525, so that's roughly the secondary price for an Anthem...and that really hurts...but being titanium will allow you to electro-ano the handle however you want. I foresee people buying that model a lot.
...AND THEY FINALLY BROUGHT BACK THE OM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bet it has the same action as the Phaeton (which I personally like a lot).
They gave the Altitude a full handle - I think that was smart. I just wish they did a real DLC on the blade.
That's my main takeaways.

Thanks Tu. I have some picks already.

Why would you add Magnacut to the lineup and put a coating on it!? It's probably the most stain resistant steel in the lineup, let it shine! Almost as confusing as putting a non-stainless steel on an OTF that's going to be hard to maintain and keep corrosion free...
Another year, and yet another brand has released axis lock manual flippers. Somehow Benchmade hasn't been able to make a functional one despite having exclusive rights to the axis lock for so long.

273-3 looks like I’ll have one when released in September my birthday is in September maybe my wife will hook me up.

/|\ +1 on Thanks to Tu.
The 945-2 ( CF & S90v) is what I’ve been waiting 15+ years for, will likely buy 1/2 dozen when all is said & done.
Glad to see Altitude around & seeing S90v on several models.
Overall best new line up in years IMHO.

Why the images are not proportional? I can not tell the true size(shape) of the knife. weird. Too many coated blades.

Thanks for posting the catalog Tu and yes some odd pictures in the catalog.

Well, there are some cool knives in the catalog but I'll be honest, the price is too high for me these days. I mean $300 for either a Taggedout with G10 scales or a Bailout, and $350 for a Shootout with Grivory scales? Yeah, I know MAP will be less, but still.
Nope, can't justify any of that.

Agree, lots of "plastic"
For a molded handle. The price is too much. I guess it is called mass production.

Light weight does not means cheap quality. Maybe they are thinking when people bought the knife just to modify it with a new(better looking) handle.
Personally, I rarely modify knives. I like what it is.

+1 on the The 945-2 (S90v & CF). I'm also liking the Narrows. It will be on my short list. The Freeks are freekin awesome. The 560-03 in S90v & CF fills a hole in the family for sure. And a new Mini Freek in M4 and Black and Red G10 makes a nice little brother to the 560BK-1. I like the new colors and happy to see the Altitude is still in the line. I might pick up one of the new 15535OR-1 Raghorns in Magnacut and CF and dye the blade black as I'm still having a hard time with the idea of sporting a bright orange blade. Maybe more in the future!

If I open the .pdf in a browser I get the distorted pages. When I open it in Adobe it looks fine.

PS Thanx TU!

NEW Benchmade Knives | Shot Show 2023
The Mini Claymore is at the top of my purchase list - I went ahead and just ordered it from BladeHQ...it's a must-have in my book since I think the Claymore is one of the best all-around knives they've ever made (even though I would have certainly appreciated g10). The Narrows will be something worth looking at - I'm curious to learn about the "torsion axis lock" is and how it differs from the normal lock. Perhaps putting a leaf spring with a retaining bar up against the axis bar? I'm imagining something like the safety mechanism in the Barrage but set almost perpendicular (or maybe diagonal) to the handle's axis.
...but how has nobody said a single thing about the SOCP jousting lance lol

The 945-2 and the Freeks make sense l guess and these will probably sell, but I think they're not very exciting additions. Nobody (!) needs more colors for the bugouts and the bailouts
. The blade-to-handle ratio of the Immunity does not really work for me. The mini Claymore looks quite good I must say, but auto's are not allowed here. So that also clears the new CLA from my list ... Leaving only the Narrows which looks interesting, but the price is kind of crazy high. From the videos I've seen it's so super smooth that it looks like it is on ball bearings (which I don't like). Not sure how the new axis lock will handle.
The handle on the Altitude looks nice, but the orange is a no go for me.
I would love to see a Altitude in Magnacut without any coating (or black DLC).
A 535-3 with Magnacut would also be awesome.2 -

Releases like these make me long for 2000-2015 Benchmade
The Immunity is a cool 2.5" odd ball, but the 2023 pricing hurts

Hearing rumors that Benchmade may possibly lower some prices listed in the 2023 catalog

That would be nice!

Maybe because they are getting lit up on various forums and social media about proposed pricing.

Well if they wanna sell the Narrow at $350, I’ll be just fine with that

while they’re at it, can they knock a hundred off those Magnacut CLA’s?
2 -
Pricing is an industry wide issue. I would like that Fixed SOCP however if it was closer to $200-250.
I have no interest in the Narrows even if it was $250.
The colored Shootouts are nice but not enough to lay the premium over the standard version.

They did a survey focused on the new pricing at Shot Show. When the crowd gets upset enough, Benchmade usually listens. They may not change things but will listen
