Illegitimate Benchmade websites

Hey folks,

I ran across two sites selling Benchmade knives that don't seem to be affiliated with Benchmade.

benchmadebranch[.]com and usabenchmade[.]com

There's a recent FAQ post on the forum where [@mention:673489563795465984] provided all of the info that shows how sketchy usabenchmade[.]com is in great and hilarious detail.

I just wanted to make this post to let other people know.

Edit: These are also shown as Advertisements if you use DuckDuckGo.  I've already reported them.

  There should be a way to get that USABENCHMADE site shut down. It looks so real. I can't even imagine how many people are getting scammed. I have a couple of Benchmades on my Christmas list and Im having to tell my family to beware.

  You would be amazed at how difficult it is to get a website shutdown let alone go after the Chinese counterfeiters that create the knives. I've communicated counterfeits as well as sites like this to BMC for quite some time. Although it's appreciated its a tough task on their part. I'm sure that the costs of legal services to do so is astronomical. Those of us that know about them do in fact help by doing exactly what you have done By warning others, by buying through authorized Benchmade Dealers and of course reputable collectors we make a small dent in their sales.
