That orange blade is friggin ugly.  I love Cruwear, but the orange bade is a deal breaker for me.  DId I mention it is ugly as hell?

You know that you can dye Cerakote. If the orange is a deal breaker, get one and dye the blade black using Rit Dye More. Make sure to take the knife apart first and only dye the blade

/|\ Thanks Tim good to know.

There is a reason for the old saying

    “Smart as a Fox”

And fox184 reaffirms it - the orange is ugly.
I haven’t & will not buy an orange coated blade. Honestly not big on any coated blades, or orange handles or orange sheaths.

If I want high visibility, I’ll add a lanyard of high vis paracord & warp the sheath with it too.

I'm also not a fan of coated blades - I like to see the steel. I'm not familiar with Cruwear but I read it is a semi-stainless with decent corrosion resistance. Out of curiosity, why did BM go with Cruwear for a hunting knife that will often be bloody and wet?

The market loves super steels. If they made the knife in 154CM there would be someone saying… “Why 154CM? Is it 2005?”

Cru Wear is actually a fairly balanced steel compared to others.
