Shootout feedback request

Hey guys, I’m looking for some feedback on the Shootout.

I know some guys had posted some first impressions or some thoughts after handling one in a store. Has anybody been carrying one regularly, or maybe even daily? If so, what do you think?

Im thinking about getting one for my brother but no stores around me carry this one so I can’t handle one before buying.

  I know a couple who do. It seems like the most practical OTF they've made.

  This glass breaker delete seems to be popular with them

  I’m late to answer because I just joined.  I’ve had mine for a couple weeks.  I have only used it around the house and have not been hard on it.

  The short story is it’s ok, but nothing super special about it.  I’ll keep it and use it but it’s far from my favorite knife.

  what I like:

  lightweight,

  double action auto for easy one hand use

  handle shape isn’t blocky like others

  the glass breaker hasn’t really bothered me, but I think it’s silly

  cons:

  im older and the skinny actuator button hurts my thumb pad, could use a wider button

  I’d prefer a smaller mini bugout sized OTF for household stuff

  typical OTF blade play- just is meh on all OTF’s

  it, like many knifes, is very overpriced IMO
