Went ahead and grabbed it. Looks better in person, but the "lizard" Damascus is pretty subtle. the Mexican blanket handle really pops in person.

The color pattern looks quite cool, but ... why the G10 bolster
?
Single piece handle would have made it much cleaner in my opinion.

this forum has gone to hell no updates on new knives, no actual benchmade interaction .....this company has failed us and themselves.

I received an email from BKC announcing this today. Nothing like waiting until the last minute.

Yeah I got the email this morning myself. It's funny that the Benchmade website shows them out of stock. But hey... That seems to be the norm these days!
I just texted my Benchmade guy and asked him to try to order me one. I'll add that he still hasn't received his shipment of the 945-221s yet! 😐

I wonder how long this ebay seller from China will get away with their counterfeiting at Benchmade's expense (among others). I thought I'd be helpful by reporting them to Benchmade, ebay, chris reeve, etc etc etc. Yet here they are with the latest and greatest in cheap chinese counterfeit garbage once again....

It is too bad that the dealers won't follow the rules for posting/showing/selling knives. I would like to see Benchmade hire someone to keep this forum up to date too! Agreed it is all about them making their money, but especially on these small drops, they will all sell.

/|\ I understand the frustrations & disappointment with the erosion of the communication on this forum your all experiencing.
What disappoints me more are the new product line compared to the knives they’ve discontinued. So can’t say I really care if I don’t get a notice on knives I’d never buy.
