Barrage Scales
Newbie, here. Not to Benchmade or to knives...or to life...hahahaha! But after4 looking and looking and finding few alternatives, I decided to make scales for two wonderful presents (one from my daughter and son and law, and one from my wife). No complaints on the originals...they were just not to my taste. So, here are the pics. One, G10 and one black buffalo horn. Time intensive due to the requirement to inlet the inside. But for a rookie, I think they turned out good enough to show.

Goodnight! Those are sharp-looking [@mention:687002815906555055]! Are those pins rivets? I'm just wondering how one might disassemble the knife if one of the omega springs breaks.
Beautiful G10 - very reminiscent of the Skirmish.

On the buffalo, those pins are 10mm x 2mm button head cap screws inserted before the final shaping. I used a light amount of two-part epoxy, clamped it for a day. Then shaped the horn. So, the spring breaks, it'll be a nasty job to replace. Hahahaha. With the G10, I used some of the original screws and added stainless hex countersunk sockets up the handle. So, that one is an on-off system. On the buffalo, I figured the spring breaks, it breaks. Just gives me another project.

Hey...nothing wrong with a knife project
I really like those scales. No matter how hard I try, I always come back to the Barrage as my favorite Benchmade. Of course, I haven't been around collecting nearly as long as most folks. But I always love seeing some Barrage appreciation.

Thanks. I have too many knives. Or, is that an impossibility? I seem to keep grabbing the Benchmades as my favorites. I can carve on Opinels all day with no issue..But when it comes to Benchmades, I usually leave them as designed. For me, there's a toss up favorite between the Barrage and my Crooked River mini that was factory modded. Kinda like kids, I love them all.

And, by the way, the picture of the G10 shown with the buffalo was before some hand rubbing with Mothers. The other picture is after. Not to get shiny. Just took out the fine sanding lines.

I’m always amazed with the work that folks do on scales.
We have a few craftsman in this forum that fabricate scales and do amazing work.
