Anyone know if a 917 blade will swap into a 908 handle?

  I’m not 100% sure because I don’t have a 917 but I believe they will.

  I'd have to dig both models out of my safe  and attempt to complete a blade swap to be sure. Since they both have a Blade Thickness of  0.124" there is a good chance that they would interchange. The distance of the Pivot to the Axis Bar seems to be the same. My only concern would be the visible stop screw on the 917 vs the hidden stop screws on the 908. Thus positioning of the stop could be slightly different.

  Why are you looking to do a swap?

  I like the stonewash on the 917 and I don't carry it as much as its pretty heavy and bulky compared to the 908.

  Like a 917 tac without the hook and glass breaker.
