Is the jade real?

Just a question. Wondering if the jade used on the handles is real jade or a new type of custom jade?

  It’s just the color.  The material is g10.

  Jade G10 or Ghost Jade G10 is a woven fiberglass fabric that is layered and impregnated with epoxy resin. Dyes can be added to create different colors of G10. Jade G10 has no colored dye added and is the natural color of the G10 material once it has cured.

  Some people like the color of the undyed G10 and some don't. Jade G10 can be dyed once it has been cured as well. In its raw state it can take almost any color. Combinations of Rit Dye More can be used to achieve the preferred color. The process has been outlined a number of times here in the forum. You can use the "Advanced Search" function here in the forum and look for "Rit Dye More" as the exact phrase which will allow you to easily to find them. The process holds up very well, is color fast and can be used on a number of other materials.

  Right on thanks for the reply! I will ask this thread to be closed now. Thankyou! I wonder if I can add some thermal luminescent coat to it to glow in the dark later on. Just got my custom build ordered.
