Infidel Quality
I was given the large black Infidel knife for Fathers Day almost two years ago. I am told it was approximately a $400 knife, very expensive, that was purchased at Sherper's Sporting Goods in Port Washington, Wisconsin. After a year, periodically the knife would not fully extract and stay locked open. The name on the pocket clip, Infidel, rubbed off and the knife does not hold a sharp blade the way one would expect from a high quality knife! Is this the reputation Benchmade stands behind? I ignored this very poor quality as it was a gift from my family until they asked why I was not wearing it, how incredibly embarrassing and how shameful for your company!

/|\ Dear Proud Father, welcome to the Forum.
Cutting to the chase, I think you got a knock off. You should call Benchmade’s customer service about sending it in for service. I will caution you, if it’s a knock off Benchmade will confiscate it when you send it in. If you post a few pics here, other forum members will be able to tell if it’s genuine or fake.
