Benchmade Multi Tool?
Has Benchmade ever made or will be Benchmade ever make a serious multi tool with a locking main blade, can and bottle openers, saw blades and other blades and tools in, say, a steel-liner G10 handle or something of that nature? Would you be up for this or would it be a waste of time and effort?

I would totally get one.. like a Vic style or the newer leatherman Free T series. Add a pocket clip and it’d be perfect!
but, maybe the market is saturated with other manufacturers and the profit margin is too low.

/|\ Being a Benchmade fan I might buy one.
BUT my buying of BKC’s non-knife products is mixed. I’ve several blue boxes & blue lube bottles.
Their are productsI’d like to have, the fire stater for example love the $40 blue Al & butterfly logo BUT I can but same product can be had for $25 so think mark up too much. Also cigar cutters that work can be had for $5 that fit my need better as lightweight in pocket on golf course & if I lose it no tears.

benchmade used to do a couple different multitools under the h&k brand. if i remember correctly there was a general purpose version and also one purpose built for ar-15 maintenance. maybe more, but that’s all i recall. i don’t know if they were US or foreign made, it’s been a while & google isn’t cooperating tonight. they do pop up on the bay from time to time tho.

I remember the multi tool, but not the AR tool. I would love the AR tool. The regular was sold by itself, or in flashlight, knife, & tool set

i don’t know, i swear i remember a couple versions. could just be my memory going, it’s not what it used to be (i always tell my boys that they’re what made me old. didn’t have no gray hair before they were born).

i looked it up & you’re right, there’s only one version. i think what got me confused is that one if the tools is an ar-15/m-16 front sight tool. also has a shotgun choke tool, a strap cutter, & a handcuff key. definitely marketed towards law enforcement, but not bad looking otherwise

Years of scouts, be prepared.
I ran with some crazies in my youth & just got in the habit of carrying something to get out of cuffs & zip ties. Cops aren't the only one who use them
