Counterfeit 417 Fact Being Made Now
I've seen the 471 counterfeited before. But their getting better these days. They've even done one up a Custom Blue G10 Handled 417.
It won't be long before we end up seeing more sellers here in the states!

I got took too! I should have done more research on the blue FRN handled 417 Fact. I felt something was wrong with it as soon as I opened and closed the knife. I didn't have that Benchmade feel for smooth operation. The Axis Lock spring is very stiff. and its gritty on closing. Live and keep learning!

BM need to bring this game one step further.
What I mean is not to go after the counterfeit (too many and too complicated process) but make even better knives to defeat the fake.
I think this is the best way.

Arc the only BMCs that I don't see being counterfeited are GCs. Although I expect that to change soon.

That is why I said, making better knives instead of keep chasing those counterfeit(no end). That is wasting time.
Let the counterfeit people chasing BM.

I've seen these, & more frequently Bugouts, with light customizations then sold as used customs. $20 knife + $10 in anno hardware, then sell for $150

I used to bid some on ebay if I see some good ones, but since I have to pay taxes on "used"(you lost the edge to some other states don't need to pay taxes) and too many counterfeit. I only look at them now. I even sent some msg to the seller some time. The response is "mind your own business".
