For now narrowed down to either a Benelli semi auto M model ( no lefty model & trying to decide if it’s a problem) or one of the Mossenberg 500 L models. I want it a kiss simple as possible.
Either of you have experience shoot a righty shotgun left handed?

Have you looked at Kalashnikov USA? There Komrad is an excellent home defense shot gun. It's a 12 gauge, mag fed, semi auto, AK pistol with 12.5" barrel. Made in USA. I had a 410 version that was a lot of fun especially with hollow point slugs, the Saiga 410.
Its not much different than a lefty shooting a right handed AR

Ithaca Model 37 is a nice shotgun. I'm a lefty through and through and love mine. Load and ejects from the bottom.
