buck copy the northfork?

    No, Knife design does not have copy right. It is clearly marked Buck. It is not  "copy".

    While it looks to be a pretty close design, the Buck has far less recurve on the belly compared to the North Fork. Obviously a Frame Lock vs Axis Lock. And no Lanyard Hole. Those are just the visible differences I can see right off the top without check the difference in specs between the two knives. 

    So in answering your question I would say "No its not a copy". Just a slightly similar design by another USA knife manufacturer. And remember Buck Knives Inc. has been around since 1961.

    I don’t think then look anything alike.  Maybe a very slight resemblance of the blade shape but it’s still not close to a match.
