I broke down and got a Bug Out

I believe I was one of the last hold outs on the Bug Out. Not sure why, I guess when it comes to knives "bigger is better" has always been my motto. Well I could not pass up sale a large retailer had, so I got one. All black.

I will pass on my thoughts when it arrives.

It's on my list, but at the very bottom. Right next to the 940
The black one is the one that caught my eye the most, the Blade HQ version. I wish they would offer it with CF scale option.

That one is currently on sale, so might be the time to try it. You can get aftermarket scales, but then you are jacking up the total price. You have to really like the knife to make that kinda investment.
I am more interested in the Bail Out over the Bug Out, but I will give the Bug Out a shot.

Love those Sunburst Scales! Hope they add them to their website in the near future.
If they do I'll have to blame the purchase of another 535 Bugout on you! Lol

Thoughts on the Bugout...
It is great. Why did I wait so long? Well I know, I did not like the blue handle.
It is just a solid knife, and the fears people have of it being "cheap feeling and flimsy" are way over blown. I am sure it can do anything asked of it, and short of abuse testing, should handle just about any knife task well.
9/10 for me.
