i have a 720 prototype with the american flag on the handle. was looking for info/price on this knife i cant find anything on a proto with the flag on the handle

  It's exactly what it says - one of the prototypes before production models. They're limited edition, only 1000 made. I've been seeing them sell for up to $350 the past couple years, up from $150 10 years ago.

  Nice Pardue 720 F model ! I had one of the plain blade NRA LE models a number of years ago and sold it. I like plane blades over serrated. Never should have! Enjoy your knife Phil!
