Stryker auto tuning question
Just picked up a new Stryker auto. The blade has a little side to side play. Does it need breaking in and tuning with the pivot like the manual knives do?
Also, if I open it with the blade side down, knife parallel to the ground, the blade bounces off the stop and doesn't lock up. No issues in other orientations. Will this change with use or is this just a position I should not open it in?
Love the knife...I wish the original manual version was still in production except with an axis lock.

Update: I tightened the pivot to reduce the side-to-side play and the slight friction added stopped the blade bounce off the stop.
I still would like to know if I should add loc-tite to the pivot screw or not. I'm going to do that later if noone gives me a reason not to.

I always put Loctite on my pivot screws if I adjust them.

I always put Loctite on the pivot screws and if I run out I steal some of the wife's fingernail polish and sparingly add a bit to pivot screws.
