How tough/durable is the BugOut?

How durable is the BugOut when it comes to serious outdoor Bushcraft style activities, for survival and camping? Obviously, if someone wants a serious hard-use knife for that they ought to go with one of the fixed blades such as the Bush Craft or Adamas fixed blade. But, if all you have on you is the folding BugOut, what could you expect if needed? Will the blade shatter or chip if used to baton and other things or not?
