  Ben, buy from an authorized Benchmade dealer or direct from Benchmade.

  I’ve purchased from 4 over last few years. If you don’t know who any are, Benchmade has a list or if you want pm me & I’ll give you names of those I used. 

  The Proper with CF handles is shipping now per email from Benchmade.

  Excellent advice from Bill.

  My dad mentioned the he would like a good old fashioned knife. I got him a Proper & his first question was "does the blade lock?" Not meaning to, but sounding a bit disappointed. Currently he is very happy with a 940.

  318-2 is shipping, the 319-2 will not ship until later this month
