Dream Bali Knives thoughts
Please let Benchmade knife designers know my ideals .If you use titanium handles on the 60 series Bali’s lengthen the handle to put a spring latch like the 42.Put 51 rounded latch and make it sandwich construction with better steel blade than D2 that is more rust resistant.I know this Bali would almost be like the 42 but easier to make and cost effective.I wish Benchmade would makes other blade styles for the 87.This knife is awesome I am going to buy one worth the money . The sheath for the 87 needs big time improvements or make custom leather Bali sheaths for Benchmade and charge a little extra.I really love Benchmade Knives wish they made more Bali’s .

I would really like another mini in the offering. Since the 32 Morpho there hasn't been another mini Bali
As for what I prefer, I like the spring latch, zen pins and sandwich construction. As for material not really bothered as long as its balanced and as for blade steel don't mind either as never had a problem with D2.

IMO, the $150 bali market has limited competition for quality balis that don't fall apart with regular flipping. Something that is a good bali in this price range and under 5 oz might be very popular regardless of the material.

I agree with Scott, there are a lot of overpriced balisongs on the market but barely any in the under $200 range. I think Benchmade was onto something when they released the 53. A more traditional version of balisong with the same materials and construction would be cheep to produce and fun to flip.

I absolutely love everything about the 87 (got 2), but would love to see them expand the blade options like they did on the 4* series. A Kris blade like the 49 would be amazing- I’d certainly be willing to pay a premium for such a fun collector piece.
