/|\ Yes same though, but also why didn’t they just handle it in CF at that price.

This is like the 940-1802 in that to get a M390 blade had to pay bloated price with crappy handle design.

Seriously all these  red details in BKC knives how many firemen & communists are buying their knives. Can we get back to Benchmade blue so I can go to the Poor House a happy man.

    M390 would be nice in a 530/531.

/|\, +1. Mac idea of buying & swapping blade into standard handle has appeal.

BUT at listed MSRP & also have to consider a 940-1 as an alternative

Yeah I saw that one listed on the bay a few days ago. SMH

Look up Douche Bag in the dictionary and it says "See JMeyer!" I think he attempts to set the value of every rare or hard to get knife he lays his paws on!

Hey Wulff... If you still have one of those 17 left next month I'll have to get one from you!

I just found the blade cut is a little different than others.

If you try just move the axis lock down. The blade will get push out by the lock.

It doesn't happen to other knifes. I try to compare to a regular 531 but I don't remember where I put it. I can't find it.

I don't know is this new design or only for 531 series.

It’s the same with every 530 and 531 that I’ve ever had.

If I'm taking what you said correctly... When you pull back the Axis Lock the blade is moved out of the liners and if you press on the blade while holding the Axis in the unlocked position you feel pressure between the blade and the lock?

If this is what you're describing, I've noticed this with a number of BMKs most  notably my 531. It appears to be the way the blade's tang interacts with the lock. An number of my Grippys act the same way. If you think of it, it makes senses to "Eject" the blade from the liners as you're now moving to use your knife. So there is nothing wrong and it's not new.

No problem in my opinion.  The blade opens slightly when axis is disengaged.  I actually consider it a benefit of this knife.  Almost like a dual action if it’s smooth enough.

I just indicate this is the first time I notice this. It is not a problem.

The blade design is different. It just like you guys said. It almost give it a kick when you pull down the lock.

So all 530, 531 are the same. I have to dig through the pile to find my 531. Thanks
